Starting the last week of October 2026, the way you fill in your details when applying to assignments on Freelance.nl is changing. - **Freelancers:** the application profile is being retired. You’ll now complete your application using data from your Freelance.nl profile. - **Staffing agencies and intermediaries:** the application profile stays as it is. ### New application form The application form will be redesigned for everyone at the end of October 2026. - **New:** Job titles, Skills, and Work experience. - **Removed:** Areas of expertise, Personal qualities, and maximum rate. - **Changed:** you enter a single rate and a minimum and maximum number of hours. --- ### For freelancers #### **What happens to my application profile?** Starting the last week of October, you can no longer view, create, or edit existing application profiles. #### **What do I need to do?** You don’t need to do anything right away. However, it’s a good idea to check that your Freelance.nl profile is complete and includes your résumé. Is your résumé still stored in your old application profile? You can import it via “Mijn profiel”. After the change, you can still import a résumé from an application profile from the past year if you don’t have a résumé in your profile yet. #### **Can I still apply to assignments?** Yes. The form is pre-filled automatically with data from your profile: availability, rate, hours, location preferences, job titles, skills, and work experience, plus your contact details. This makes completing your application quick and easy. You can turn this off in your account settings. #### **Writing data back to your profile** After submitting your application, you can choose to save the information you entered to your profile. This only adds information; nothing is ever removed. --- ### For staffing agencies and intermediaries #### **What’s changing?** The application profile will remain available for staffing agencies and intermediaries. Here you manage the details of your professionals and use them when applying to assignments. The fields are more extensive, so you can add more information about your professionals. You can still apply with professionals who don’t have their own account on Freelance.nl. #### **What happens to my existing application profiles?** They remain available under “Mijn reactieprofielen”. You don’t need to change anything. #### **What’s different when applying?** When you select a professional, the fields of the new form are pre-filled for you: - Areas of expertise and Personal qualities are merged into **Skills**. - Available hours are filled in as both the minimum and maximum. - **Work experience, Job titles, and location preferences** are left blank. You can optionally fill these in yourself. - The maximum rate is removed.
